Feel Again Posters
For the design of this poster triptych series called “Feel Again,” my aim was to take the viewer through each step of mental illness, mostly through anxiety and depression. Mental health encompasses many different feelings that mostly can be grouped into three categories. Some moments feel overwhelming and like the worst times of our life. Other times maybe feel like nothing, they aren’t terrible but they aren’t great, just okay. Lastly, there are moments that feel peaceful. My goal was to emphasize these feelings.
Original Concepts
With the concept of rolling through mental illness in mind, I wanted to design my posters the way it feels to go through these emotions. Some of the concepts feel messy and chaotic to represent the worst times. Other sketches show a just okay time, emphasizing simply making it another day. I tried to find a balance between these feelings all the way to grasping onto peace before we start the cycle again.
